I am soooo excited! I bought my ticket this weekend to go to Immerse Austin 2012 in February with one of the wonderful ladies from my women’s small group.
Why am I so excited, you ask? Well, not only have I never been to a Christian women’s conference before, but this one features Lysa TerKeurst!! I cannot wait to see her speak live!
For those who are new to my blog or just don’t know, Lysa wrote a fabulous book called Made to Crave: Satisfying Your Deepest Desire with God, not Food (among other great books for helping women grow spiritually) and I greatly respect everything she’s accomplished and how much she does for other Christian women struggling with their weight.
If any other women in the Austin area are interested in joining us, we’d love it! Tickets are only $25 if ordered before January 31st. 🙂

I immensely enjoyed the evening! The format was absolutely fabulous, only topped by the content.
I especially liked the way Mandisa sang more than one time during the course of the evening.
Lysa was the original draw for me, but I equally enjoyed all 3 of the wonderful ladies!!
I’m already looking forward to hearing about 2013 and who will be there! Thanks so much for a great evening! 🙂
